Rhubarb Cake

Rhubarb Cake

Delicious and easy to prepare cake. You can use any fruit you want but for me rhubarb works best. I found this recipe here: mojewypieki.


  • 125gr unsalted butter
  • 10 spoons sugar
  • 10 spoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2-3 stalks of rhubarb
  • additional sugar for sprinkling


Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature and butter is soft. Mix everything into a smooth consistency and transfer into your baking form which should be lined with a baking paper or smeared with some butter and then dusted with flour. I use a round 22cm form. Cut the rhubarb into 1 cm chunks and arrange on top of the cake. Sprinkle with some sugar and bake in pre-heated oven for 40 minutes at 180C. Can serve warm or cold.
